Where Catch is from, the west still rolls and roars with unclaimed power. Dropped by a human's mare on a labor train heading south, little colt claimed and is Alaskan borne. Cold seems to give the stag no ill feeling, and he is happy to thrive in the untamed west of Texas, where he escaped after left behind in a stock stampede.

His herd, the Rig Yard, consists of only he and his favorite mare Centrifugal. Spreading his seed isn't the biggest worry for Catch, who still has many years ahead of him, but the mares who have come and gone form his harbor (many), left carrying cargo belonging to the Catch.

Humans crawl in the eastern reaches of the canyon he lives in, a ranch built to house cattle and horses while cowboys were in transit. Many have tried, and many have failed to capture the Stallion of the Seas, evident from the several lariats about the stallion's strong grey neck. Cast iron, he stands, such a beast of power and raw fury.
